Tandem Skydives

Experience the thrill of skydiving even if you decide you don't want to continue on to become a licensed skydiver.

A Tandem Jump starts with an exhilarating freefall from over 10,000 feet and ends with a peaceful descent under canopy. Your entire skydive, from the time you enter the aircraft until you land, will be assisted by a professional Tandem Instructor.

Call for advance reservations or for more information.

HEY! THAT'S ME ON TV!

Making your first jump is something you'll never forget. You can capture the excitement of your skydive forever and walk away with undeniable proof of your jump to show off to family and friends!

Hire a Professional Freefall Cameraman.

An experienced, professional cameraman will jump with you to record your jump on both video and still cameras. The stills will be downloaded to a CD for you.  The video will be professionally edited into a mini movie of your adventure.

Learning To Fly

Once you have experienced the excitement of your first skydive you may decide you would like to continue learning. At Emerald Coast the progression to a licensed skydiver is easy. You will continue your training through the Tandem/IAF (Instructor Assisted Freefall) progression program. The jump you just made counts as your first training jump.

The IAF method is an intense program that allows you to complete the student training in the least amount of jumps. From your first IAF jump, you will be skydiving with individual parachute equipment and will be responsible for its operation.

There are a total of nine jumps (2 more Tandem & 6 IAF) in the training program. You must also complete an 8 hour first jump course after you finish your tandem jumps and before you begin your IAF jumps. After you make your free graduation jump you are cleared to jump on your own and to continue your training with coached jumps until you obtain your A License.

During the freefall portion of each IAF jump you will be assisted by a USPA CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR.

Each jump will include targeted learning objectives (TLO's) which you must master to progress to the next level. This training method allows you to develop basic freefall awareness.

After deploying your parachute at 4500 feet you will be assisted with canopy control via ground to air communication.
